Does this build get updated inline with the Steam version?

The demo version often lags slightly behind the main Steam version, but purchasing the game on Itch.io gives you a Steam key, as the full version is only downloadable on Steam.

Thanks for that info... what about when the actual game reaches release state? Will the itch version stay up to date? or at that point are just supposed to use Steam? Really looking for a DRM-free copy for my laptop when I'm travelling, etc.

Hi,

your game looks great so far and I would love to throw some money at you, if this game gets a linux release ;) So my question is: Is there a Linux/SteamOS version planned in the near future? I'm quite sure, there are more penguins out there who would love this game.

Greetings,

Nishazzar

Hi Nishazzar! We want to do other platforms, but I can't really tell how long it will take to support Linux. So far we've heard that Book of Demons runs smoothly using PlayOnLinux, so you can try the demo and see if it works for you :)

Hi and thanks for the quick reply. I'm really happy you want to support Linux and I like your honesty to state clearly you can't give me a date for the linux version. I will try out the demo with playonlinux for sure, but I hope you understand, that I only want to buy the full game if it supports linux. I understand this is not a top priority task on your list, so I will play the demo, wait patiently and hold my wallet ready ;)

Greetings,

Nishazzar

Is this at all inspired by Diablo 1 from Blizzard?
